Founded in 1970 Trelleborg Fillite Ltd is the world's largest producer of Cenospheres (Microspheres). Extracted from the pulverised fuel ash of coal- fired power stations cenospheres are hollow alumino-silicate microspheres.

Trelleborg Fillite Ltd and Trelleborg Fillite Inc., are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Trelleborg AB, whose headquarters are based in Sweden.

The technical and commercial success of Fillite cenospheres has resulted in the product being exported to more than thirty countries worldwide. The Company enjoys considerable success in the Far East, Scandinavia and mainland Europe.

Trelleborg Fillite is currently handling 35,000 tonnes of cenospheres each year and expects this amount to increase year on year.

Due to the increased interest in cenospheres world-wide Trelleborg Fillite Inc. was established in 1992 based in Atlanta, Georgia to service the Northern, Central and South American markets.

Trelleborg Fillite operates a complete business operation, from its cenosphere collection operations in the United Kingdom and overseas, right through to production and delivery of the quality assured finished product to our customers.

From its offices in the UK and USA, Trelleborg Fillite controls a global processing structure including UK, China, Russia, India, USA, and Czech Republic. This permits Trelleborg Fillite to service demand worldwide in a cost efficient manner through a network of local, well-established distributors many of whom have represented Trelleborg Fillite for over twenty years.

Trelleborg Fillite is able to provide a comprehensive service to its customers through its own experienced technical and marketing staff. This knowledge and experience has been built up over many years and personnel working in the Company have an average of fifteen years service.
